Join the ICCA Leadership Team! Call for Applications: Publicity Committee Chair

Are you passionate about academic community building, digital communication, and connecting scholars around the world? Do you enjoy telling stories, promoting research, and creating engaging content?

The International Chinese Communication Association (ICCA) invites applications and nominations for the position of Publicity Committee Chair. We are looking for a creative, energetic, and collaborative colleague to lead ICCA's communications and help amplify the voices and accomplishments of our global community.

As ICCA continues to expand its international presence, the Publicity Committee Chair will play a key leadership role in increasing member engagement, promoting ICCA's activities, and strengthening the association's visibility worldwide.

What You'll Do

Working closely with the ICCA President, you will:

1. Develop ICCA's overall publicity and communication strategy, and contribute innovative ideas that enhance ICCA's visibility, foster member engagement, and strengthen our international academic community.

2. Manage and grow ICCA's social media platforms, including Facebook and WeChat, while exploring emerging digital platforms that reach diverse audiences. Create engaging posts highlighting ICCA conferences, awards, calls for papers, publications, member achievements, and professional opportunities. Help produce digital promotional materials, including event graphics, videos, and announcements.

3. Collaborate with organizers to promote ICCA-sponsored panels, receptions, webinars, and special events, particularly the annual ICCA Reception at ICA.
