ICCA Call for Papers | AEJMC 2026 (New Orleans, U.S.)


ICCA invites submissions for a competitive research paper session at the AEJMC Annual Conference, held August 4–8, 2026 in New Orleans. We welcome high-quality research papers on Chinese communication, using diverse theoretical and methodological approaches.

 Paper Competition (ICCA @ AEJMC)

Selection criteria: originality/importance, literature review, methods clarity/fit, analysis soundness, conclusions/discussion strength, writing quality/organization, relevance to Chinese communication

Awards: Top Faculty Paper + Top Student Paper

Winners receive certificates + USD $200 per paper

 Submission limit

An individual may appear as author/co-author on up to two papers submitted to the ICCA–AEJMC session. Papers beyond the limit may be disqualified by the ICCA conference chairs.

Notification: March 27, 2026

(As AEJMC’s general deadline is usually April 1, you may consider submitting to another AEJMC division if your paper is not accepted by ICCA.)
