What a meaningful and memorable evening at the 2026 ICCA-ICA Reception in Cape Town.

This year’s reception brought together more than one hundred colleagues, friends, and members of the ICCA community. We were especially honored to welcome at least four ICA Presidents, including the current ICA President, Dr. Thomas Hanitzsch, who joined us for this special gathering.

The evening was not only a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old friends and meet new colleagues, but also a celebration of outstanding achievements in Chinese communication scholarship.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our sponsoring schools from Fudan University and Zhejiang University for their generous support of the ICCA Reception. Your support made this gathering possible and helped create a warm and welcoming space for our community.
